 Hand thrown and decorated bathroom sinksI produce my hand thrown sinks from a high fire stoneware clay. They can be ordered to your specifications, based on colors and patterns that are available at the studio. Some of the colors and patterns can be seen on the pictures. Sinks are glaze-fired at 1230 degrees C. This make them extremely strong ceramic fixtures that resists scratches and withstand abrasion. The high fire and relatively heavy and thick walls, make them extremely strong, but that doesn't mean you can treat them carelessly. Strong as they are they are still ceramic objects, and should be carefully treated during installation and use. The Clay & Glazes used are very durable and will hold their beauty even with daily use for many years, but it is better not to use abrasive cleaning agents on them. The base model is a round wheel thrown basin with a wide rim. Hand built rectangular and oval models can be ordered to specifications. Drain size of all models fits standard plumbing fixtures.
